I guess the tarot card “Star” is one of the most loved card out of the tarot deck. Stars are simply beautiful, aren’t they? :). It also suggests peace and harmony. There is basically nothing negative about this tarot card. However, do note that there is a trick to it. Please remember that whatever hope or future the Star tarot card seems to suggest, they are not immediate. This is a card which suggests unexpected help.

I think when it comes to reading tarot cards, no card scares an indivual more than this card. It implies that false structures, false intuitions and false beliefs will come crashing down, suddenly and violently. What an individual believe to be true might turn out to be false and that person may be in for a rude awakening when the final truth gets revealed.

Tarot Story
The Fool had reached the foot of an enormous mountain where a creature which appeared to be half goat and half god was found. Naked people were tied to the hooves of this creature and these people were enahing in all kinds of acts: sex, drugs, drink etc etc. The Fool felt that his earthly desires increase the nearer he get to these people. He tried to resist all these primal urges and the creature told him that it is just bringing out whatever desires the Fool already had in him. The creature commented further that these urges are nothing to be ashamed and afraid of. There is also no need to avoid these urges. The Fool then realised that although the women and men were chained, they actually have enough space to move around and the chains are actually wide enough for them to easily slip off over their heads. The Goat-God commented that the people were actually free to move if they like and indicated that these people can only be controlled because they want to be controlled.

Alright, this is perhaps the most-feared card of all the tarot cards. Many people think that this card predicts death–literally. WRONG. First of all, tarot cards DO NOT PREDICT anything. Tarot Deck basically serves as a guide and allows one to connect with his or her subconsious mind. Reading tarot cards do not predict anything. If it does, i will be better off predicting when i will strike lottery instead of sticking to my stressful day job. So get this point very clear before we proceed. Do not fear the Death card, it is not meant to be a threatening card.

Some people think that the literal meaning of this tarot card is negative and associate it with death. Please rest assured that literal meaning do not apply here.
