Alright, this is perhaps the most-feared card of all the tarot cards. Many people think that this card predicts death–literally. WRONG. First of all, tarot cards DO NOT PREDICT anything. Tarot Deck basically serves as a guide and allows one to connect with his or her subconsious mind. Reading tarot cards do not predict anything. If it does, i will be better off predicting when i will strike lottery instead of sticking to my stressful day job. So get this point very clear before we proceed. Do not fear the Death card, it is not meant to be a threatening card. :)

The Fool recognised the skeleton as Death and he asked the skeleton if he had died. The Skeleton told the Fool that in a way, the Fool had died and that this is the only way to be reborn. The Fool felt enlightened and understands that all great transformations start by stripping everything and are built upon the bare foundations.

The Death Card has always been depicted in a dramatic manner in the movies and dramas. Actually, it is a card which suggests transformation more than anything else. It is a card of humility and advises the Querent that only after being brought low can he or she rise to greater heights. The Death card encourages changes and hint that the changes may be good to bring about a great transformation, leading to a better life. New things can only be reborn after death. Hence, do not take the Death card as its face value but look beyond the card and attempt to change for a better future!

One Response to “Reading Tarot Card–Death”

  1. There are many ways a tarot reader can ask a question of the tarot cards. While asking the simplest situation arises that question is a yes/no question. Then the tarot reader can do a simple one or three-card throw. The simplest way to ask the tarot cards a yes/no question would be to throw one tarot card if it lands upright, then the answer is yes, if it lands reversed, the answer is no.
